The Ghanaian Olympic athletes who have been training in Plymouth are now in London and are settling into their new home in the Olympic Village.
Although the team have left Plymouth, you can still support them.
Here is who to look out for when you’re watching the 2012 Games…
Athlete Profiles:
Alberta Ampomah
Weightlifter
Age 17
Alberta says that she has got to the level that she is at today through hard work, encouragement, determination and praying. She said that she had an awesome time in Plymouth, although it was a little cold and wet!
Ignisious Gaisah
Athlete (Long Jump)
Age 29
Ignisious has been compete professionally in Long Jump since 2003. He usually lives in the Netherlands, although he calls home everyday. Like Alberta, Ignisious says that he has reached the Olympics through hard work and dedication.
Vida Anim
Athlete (100m, 200m, 4x 100m relay)
Age 28
Vida has been running since she was 10 years and says that the support of her family has really helped her to reach her goals.
Vida said that she really enjoyed using the training facilities at UCP Marjon whilst she was training in Plymouth, and she has loved meeting everyone who has been involved in the training camp.
Margaret Simpson
Athlete (Heptathlon)
Age 30
Margaret usually lives in Mauritius and so has found the weather in Plymouth to be rather cold! She has been taking part in athletics for the past 15 years and says that she has been inspired to improve her own performance through watching other athletes.
